The Ergo Baby Carrier - Our Review
This month we finally got our hands on the ever popular Ergo Baby Carrier. Our first impressions were - this is a must have!
The focus of the design is to distribute weight to the hips rather than the shoulders. The carrier is lightweight, yet extremely well put together, so you feel very secure once it's on.
We've found that whilst the infant insert is meant for newborns, that you might want to use it a little longer as many babies just wouldn't have alot of head support before 5 or 6 months. The carrier is very comfortable for babies, but with the constant movement of you walking, a very young baby may appreciate the additional support.
I have to say that I have tried many carriers and I find that after walking around for a little while, your shoulders really do get sore, whereas the Ergo Baby's design seems to help in that area. I'm not surprised that everyone seems to have one. The added benefit of being able to put baby on your back makes life alot easier, especially when you're running around with bigger children and trying to get on top of the washing!
After trying the Ergo Baby, there's no way I'd go back to other carriers, this definitely has to be my favourite so far.
Important Info
There are a number of fake Ergo Babies being sold through Google and Ebay (please note, these business are claiming that their products are authentic or original, but they are not). For the safety of your child, it's crucial that you purchase an authentic Ergo Baby from an approved stockist. The manufacturer will not provide service or assistance for problems associated with fake products. Fake carriers have been known to be problematic and are not worth trusting your safety to.

Wrap Me Up!
As parents ourselves (of a 2 and a half year old and a 6 month old) we've had the opportunity to try out just about every product in the 9 Months Waiting range.
We've decided to put together a series of reviews from our personal experience that may be useful for any new parent out there trying to decide on which product best suits them.
Our first review will be of the Miracle Blanket.
Our first review will be of the Miracle Blanket.
I am a HUGE fan of the Miracle Blanket and feel that it's a must have for babies up to about 3 months of age. It features a flap inside the blanket that keeps those crazy little arms in place. Combined with the foot pouch, this swaddle would have to be the most secure swaddle on the market.
Can your little one get out of the Miracle Blanket?
Yes, they can, but it takes an incredible effort if you have used it properly. My daughter is a serious kicker and wriggler in her sleep and if anyone is going to get out of it, it's going to be her. We found that if we wrapped her securely enough, she just couldn't get out of it no matter how hard she tried. The nights that she did get out of it were nights that we hadn't used it properly.
I would have to rate the Miracle Blanket as my choice of swaddle for a young baby up to the age of about 3 or 4 months (depending on the size of your baby). I've used just about every swaddle available, and this one would be my pick. It's a shame they don't make them in a larger size.
Miracle Blankets are available in white, pink, blue, and pistachio for $39.95 - the best investment you'll make!
